The Under 9's played their first season in the Dorset Mini Soccer League last year and gained some valuable experience and had lots of fun along the way. For the new Season the under 9's will travel away to Weymouth, Boscombe, Stalbridge and Gillingham as well as playing there home games at the school in Mere. Most of the children who play are from Mere School but we welcome children from the local area who would like to join in the fun!

The under 9's will continue to play 40 minute matches but now move up to playing 7v7. The aim at this age is still all about enjoyment and development whilst growing their understanding of some of the basics of the game. The results are not published as before as the aim is for everyone to get time to play regardless of ability and experience.
